Intruder Alert(s)

Well ever since the weather has started to take a turn for the better, the "Duke Boys" have seen quite the upturn on animal visits as well. No, I'm not talking about my old college roommate, Teddy, but rather wildlife that has lived in Palm Harbor far longer than us. Two weeks ago while I was doing laundry, I turned the corner in our living room to find a large bird walking up our walkway towards our open front door. He didn't seem that scary, but when you're face to face with a bird of this magnitude, you give it space. How the next visitor actually got in the house and when remains a mystery, but we're just glad we saw him when we did rather than find him cuddling up next to us in bed. Luke was on his way to workout when a 2 foot long snake hid under our couch until we drove him out with a hockey stick. The good news is that non of these animals were harmed in the removal process from the property, but the "Duke Boys" have found themselves keeping a watchful eye over the next brave animal that wishes to become the 3rd roommate.

The Stork here for Vlasic Pickles...

Snake... Not cool.
